Refund Policy

At Hypertherapy, we value your time and are committed to providing high-quality, professional mobile massage therapy services. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines our terms for cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds to ensure fairness for both clients and therapists. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
1. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that life can be unpredictable and plans may change. To respect the time of our therapists and other clients:

24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

No-shows (missed appointments without notice) may be charged the full appointment fee.

Appointments may be rescheduled once without penalty if notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance.
Exceptions may be made for medical emergencies, illness, or severe weather, at the discretion of the therapist.
2. Late Arrivals
If you arrive late to your appointment:

The session may be shortened to ensure the therapist remains on schedule for other clients.

The full treatment fee will still apply, regardless of reduced treatment time.
If a delay exceeds 15 minutes for a mobile session, the appointment may need to be rescheduled, and a partial fee may apply depending on travel time.
3. Refunds for Services
Massage therapy services are non-refundable once rendered.
This includes cases where treatment outcomes differ from client expectations, as massage therapy involves a combination of therapeutic techniques that vary in effect between individuals.
However, if you prepaid for a session and cancel in accordance with our cancellation policy, you may be eligible for:

A full refund, or
-
A credit toward a future appointment within 3 months of the original booking date.
All refunds will be issued using the original method of payment.
4. Prepaid Sessions and Packages
If you purchase multiple sessions in advance (packages or promotions):

Refunds are available only for unused sessions, and only if cancelled within 14 days of purchase.

After 14 days, prepaid sessions are considered non-refundable but may be transferred to another recipient.

If a session is missed or cancelled without proper notice, it will be deducted from the package total.
5. Mobile Service Conditions
Because Hypertherapy provides mobile massage services, please ensure that:

Your space is safe, clean, and accessible for treatment.

There is sufficient space for the massage table and therapist movement.

Parking and building access are arranged prior to arrival.
If the therapist arrives and cannot safely perform the treatment due to conditions beyond their control (e.g., unsafe environment, no access, parking issues), the appointment may be cancelled on-site and a partial or full fee may apply.
6. Therapist Cancellations
In rare circumstances, your therapist may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen travel issues.

If this occurs, you will be contacted as soon as possible.

You may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund for any prepaid session.

Hypertherapy will make reasonable efforts to accommodate a new appointment time that works for you.
7. Force Majeure
Hypertherapy shall not be held liable for failure to provide services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

Severe weather

Power outages or internet disruptions

Medical emergencies

Natural disasters or public health restrictions
In such cases, appointments may be rescheduled or refunded at our discretion.
8. Disputed Charges
If you believe you were charged in error or have a concern about billing, please contact us directly at info@hypertherapy.ca.
We will review and respond to all refund or billing inquiries within 5 business days.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Hypertherapy may delay resolution and may affect your ability to book future appointments.
