02Treatment

On-site recovery massage

Twenty-four hours is a long time to keep a body moving. Ken sets up on-site so you can reset tired legs and a stiff back without leaving the venue. We bring the table, chair, linens, and supplies, you just show up.

Between stints

Targeted recovery work

Flexible session lengths

Focused on the muscles an endurance event punishes most: quads, calves, hips, lower back, neck, and shoulders. Enough to take the edge off and send you back out moving better.

  • Loosen the legs, lower back, and shoulders between stints
  • Quick reset to keep you moving through the 24 hours
  • Open to racers, crew, and support teams
  • CMTO-registered RMT, receipt provided for every session

03How it works

What to expect on the day

Once you are booked for June 27 or 28, here is how the session itself flows.

01

Find the recovery tent

Head to the HyperTherapy on-site setup at the venue. Ken brings the table, chair, linens, and supplies, so there is nothing for you to carry.

02

Take your session

Stay comfortable in your race kit. Ken targets the legs, hips, back, and shoulders so you head back out feeling looser than you came in.

03

Get your receipt

A detailed RMT receipt with Ken's registration number is emailed right after your session, ready to submit for insurance or workplace reimbursement.

04Reimbursement

A receipt you can claim back

Your session at the 24 Hour Summer Solstice comes with a detailed RMT receipt that includes Ken's registration number, so you can submit it to your insurance or workplace benefits for reimbursement.

Receipt with RMT license number

Every session comes with an itemized receipt showing Ken's CMTO registration number, the detail your insurer and HR need to process a claim.

CMTO-registered RMT

All treatments are delivered by a Registered Massage Therapist in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario.

Submit for reimbursement

Most extended health and workplace benefit plans cover RMT. Send your receipt to your provider to get reimbursed for your session.
