04 — About Your Therapist & Credentials
About Your Therapist & Credentials
Yes. Our therapist is registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO), which is the regulatory body for massage therapists in Ontario. This means they meet all provincial standards for education, safety, and professional conduct.
Our therapist graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, one of Canada's leading massage therapy programs. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Guelph-Humber, giving him a deep understanding of human movement and anatomy.
No referral is needed. You can book directly through our website. However, if your insurance provider requires a referral for reimbursement, check with them first.
Our therapist has over 9 years of combined experience in kinesiology and massage therapy. His background in both fields allows him to take a comprehensive approach to treatment, addressing not just symptoms but the underlying movement patterns that contribute to pain and tension.
